GENERAL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Standards:
The admission criteria are inseparably linked with the ultimate purposes of the Seminary. LIFE Theological Seminary desires to admit students ".hose spirituality, character, motivation, aims, and abilities are in accord with its programmes. Men and women who possess the potential to become leaders and laborers in the Church of Jesus Christ.
Evaluation of all the applications, examinations, and interviews center on the following areas:
- Spiritual commitment expressed in life-style and Christian disciplines;
- Academic achievement established by a sufficient educational background and English proficiency,
- Financial stability indicated by adequate support and responsible planning; and
- Physical stamina and emotional maturity revealed in satisfactory health and successful interpersonal relationship.
Deferment of Admission:
An admission to a current session may be deferred to the next session in writing to the Registrar. Any changes in the applicant’s status should be specified in the letter. Completed Reference forms must be submitted by two referees.
Application for Continuing Education:
Ministers of the Foursquare Gospel Church and graduates of LIFE Theological Seminary may continue their education by applying to take one or more courses offered in the current session. A letter of application must be sent to the Registrar stating ministerial status in the denomination and year of graduation from L.I.F.E.. and courses(s) desired. The fulfillment of admission standards for the relevant programme may be required.
Due Date:
The Completed Application Form for any of the programme must reach the Registrar's office on or before April ending of the year a candidate is applying for admission. Forms received after the deadline may be processed as late admission or for admission into the next academic. Letters of application for continuing education must be received two months prior to the first day of the relevant semester.
Examinations and Interviews
Entrance Examination and Interviews will take place on the first Saturday of June, 9:00 a. m. prompt at:
LIFE Theological Seminary

Ikorodu. Lagos State.
Foreign Students
As a part of the admission procedure, international students seeking to attend LIFE Theological Seminary must provide evidence of proficiency in the English Language at a level relevant to the program for which the applicant is seeking admission. The applicant must also provide evidence, which will guarantee the punctual payment of tuition fees, and other expenses. The Seminary has no scholarship or grant funds available for international students. In addition, every foreign student must possess a valid visa that allows him /her to study in Nigeria.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
A. DIPLOMA IN THEOLOGY
i Three credits and other passes (including English Language) in WASC OR
ii Three credits and other passes in (NECO) OR
iii The Teachers Certificate Grade II wit Merit in three subjects including English Language.
iv Qualification equivalent to the aforementioned with proficiency in English language.
B. BACHELOR OF THEOLOGY
i Five credit passes (including English Language) in the West African School Certificate: (W.A.S.C) OR
ii Five credit passes (including English Language) in National Examination Council (NECO)
iii Five Credits passes (including English Language) in the general certificate of education or senior Secondary school Certificate OR.
iv The Teachers Certificate Grade II with Merit in three subjects including English Language: OR
v Qualification equivalent to the aforementioned with proficiency in English language.
C. SECOND BACHELOR DEGREE
Individuals who have already earned a Bachelor's or higher degree in the secular may earn a Second Bachelor's degree in either Biblical/Pastoral Studies, Missions or Christian Education.
MODES /DURATION OF STUDY
a. Day
Degree programme is a four-year post secondary level course of study for students of any denomination who meets the general admission requirement as stipulated for B.Th
b. WEEKEND
The Degree programme is' a five-year post secondary level course of study for students of any denomination who meets the general admission requirement as stipulated for the B.Th. classes are hold on Fridays 6.00pm to 9.00pm and on Saturdays 8.00am - 5.00pm.
c. SUMMER
The School runs an intensive summer programme (Diploma four years, and B.Th five years) Studies are held each year for six weeks from the middle of June to the end of July. For final year Degree students an additional three weeks may be required to enable them to complete the required credit hours.
Admission requirements are as stipulated in A, B, and C under admission requirements.
THEOLOGICAL EDUCATION BY EXTENTION
The Theological Education by Extension (TEE) programme offers Certificate in Christian Ministry (CCM). The programme is for anyone who has been an active member of a Church for at least two years. Classes meet weekly in designated Foursquare Gospel Churches, known as LIFE Centers of leaning. Using programmed materials, students study lessons on their own and come to the Center for lectures and discussions. Requirements
(a) Spiritual commitment expressed in lifestyle and Christian discipline.
(b) Academic Requirement: Candidates from various academic backgrounds with proficiency in English Language are encouraged to apply.
